Luke is an experienced early childhood educator with over twenty years experience working as a teacher, director, manager, trainer, academic and consultant.
As a teacher he is passionate about incorporating "real" experiences such as gardening, cooking and woodwork into early childhood programs.
He is a strong advocate for interest and project-based approaches that engage children in meaningful and exciting learning. He also believes strongly in the role of educators to inspire, support and guide children's learning.
Luke has a keen interest in the physical design and layout of children's services and the ways in which effective learning environments underpin good practice.
