Inspiring teaching, real learning...

Luke is an experienced early childhood educator with over twenty years experience working as a teacher, director, manager, trainer, academic and consultant.

As a teacher he is passionate about incorporating "real" experiences such as gardening, cooking and woodwork into early childhood programs.

He is a strong advocate for interest and project-based approaches that engage children in meaningful and exciting learning. He also believes strongly in the role of educators to inspire, support and guide children's learning.

Luke has a keen interest in the physical design and layout of children's services and the ways in which effective learning environments underpin good practice.

Consultancy services include:

  • Training workshops (with a focus on meaningful early childhood curriculum, the EYLF, and effective learning environments)
  • Ongoing support for services
